Yesterday I had the incredible opportunity to experience #Revival 5.0 by Liat Horovitz (one of those people you meet and immediately think — why am I only meeting her now?!) and honestly… I’m still buzzing!
Since moving to #Toronto almost 9 months ago, I’ve been to a lot of #networking and #empowerment events - but this? This was something else!
A room full of amazing, inspiring women - not just there to network, but to lift each other up, share real stories (whether on stage or over lunch), and spread the kind of energy you can feel long after you leave.
The vibes? Unreal. The connections? Genuine. The egos? Left at the door.
I caught up with old friends, made new ones, and walked away feeling empowered, energized, and excited about new opportunities and collaborations.

This one was different.
I’ve been to a fair number of events, and while many are well put together, very few leave a lasting imprint. Revival 5.0 by Liat Horovitz was quite the experience. It was a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when women come together with open hearts and no pretense.
A few things stood out to me:
✨ The vulnerability
✨ The authenticity that didn’t need to be curated
✨ The energy that could only come from women showing up fully as themselves
✨ The support that was both spoken and unspoken
✨ The beautiful feeling of being seen - not just looked at, but really seen
At the heart of it all, we all crave connection - genuine, soul-nourishing connection. And that’s exactly what Revival gave us ❤️

Last week, I had the privilege of connecting with an incredible group of women who showed up with openness, intention, and heart.

Yesterday cracked me open.
Revival 5.0, hosted by the powerhouse Liat Horovitz, was a soul reset.
Set in the stunning Symes in Toronto, the theme of freedom ran through everything,
every conversation,
every story,
every breath-filled balloon we released into the air.
We received powerful stories and strategies from founders like Kristen Gale of Ten Spot , whose framework for fun will forever live rent-free in my brain (you know I love a good framework).
The darkness and light of of Negin’s story (neg_in_wonderland on IG) stripped away every emotional layer.
And Jenn Harper of Cheekbone Beauty Cosmetics INC - what an icon.
I was in full fangirl mode.
There was laughter too. Chris McMartin of Scotiabank Women Initiative and I laughed about idea that hope is a drug (and honestly, I’m not mad at the addiction).
Jake Karls of Midday Squares brought the fire 🔥

Sonshine and Broccoli brought the joy
The Artist from _yaelly Remy Gecelter created a crowdsourced masterpiece that brought the magic
And the entrepreneurial energy? Electric.
To be in a room with people like Leslie GottliebHeather Bolt, Nathalie Amlani, MBA, PMPClaire ChenGabby Zuniga MIR, CHRLDori Adams, Anna Lisa Vicente I was reminded just how rich our ec thank you for inviting me!
We each breathed life into balloons filled with our hopes.
And when 200 humans lift your dream together... how could it not rise?
Liat, you’ve built a beautiful table - and you continue to fill it with people who bring their full selves, their full hearts.

Have you ever said yes to something on a whim and walked away forever changed? That was me at #Revival 5.0 last Thursday.
I first crossed paths with the incredible woman behind this event Liat Horovitz while emceeing a conference last month. After she and Robyn Ptak from Procter & Gamble lit up the stage in a fireside chat, Liat (with her trademark warmth) invited me to join her upcoming gathering as her guest. I could tell Liat wasn’t the kind of person who does anything halfway, but I had no idea just how transformative this event would be.
Imagine a room pulsing with possibility, with every seat filled by women committed to honest sharing and radical support, and bursting with infectious energy. As we listened to one incredible speaker after the other, I was wiping away tears from laughter one minute, and from profound sadness the next - awestruck through it all by the resilience beating at the heart of every story.
The real magic was the container Liat created: a space of vulnerability, curiosity, and fierce compassion. She introduced each speaker with extraordinary generosity, then guided the conversations with intuitive gentleness and unwavering belief in and admiration for every voice.
Forever grateful to these powerhouse speakers who moved and inspired me so deeply: Chris McMartin, Kristen Gale, Jenn Harper, Negin Cheleh , Jake Karls and Tanya Kololian.
Loved spending time with long-time friends Irena Kahn, Yael Grimman and Alyssa Kerbel, while getting to meet so many fantastic women, including Marnie Rabinovitch Consky, Michelle Andre Francis, and Sharmila Sriram.
Liat, thank you for crafting such an authentic, empowering space. Revival is now officially an annual can’t‑miss on my calendar. 💖

Last week I had the honour of attending Revival 5.0 a full day event curated by the one and only Liat Horovitz
The space was filled with well over 200 Entrepreneurs and professional women.
We left with a stronger sense of community, collaboration and inspiration that aligns us with our respective mission and vision, to all the incredible women I met, thank you!

The speakers and their stories were so powerful and I will never forget their courage, strength, resilience, and passion to serve others.
It's always such a blessing to reunite with my dear friends Leslie GottliebClaire ChenNathalie Amlani, MBA, PMPSusan DiazNancy T. Di Nuzzo, CPA just to name a few. It was a double blessing to also meet so many new women that I hope to stay connected with over time.
Every woman there was so kind, supportive and loving. This is a true testament of the power of community, connection, and vulnerability.
Everybody has a story to share and I'm so grateful I got to be part of this truly magical event! Thank you to Liat and her whole team and everyone present for creating such an empowering day filled with passion, joy, and love.

🌟 Negin Cheleh shared an emotional, raw story of survival and resilience that left the whole room moved. Reconnecting with her over a decade after we first met when she pitched Thigh Society for social media services was a full-circle moment for both of us.
🧘‍♀️ Looking forward to visiting trove soon, after hearing founder Tanya Kololian speak (also more on that in another post)
It's always nice to see connect with others local founders Dani S Kagan from Mave & Chez, Kristy Lynn Miller from The Scented Market and others IRL.
The truth is that I spend 99.9% of my time in front of a computer, so even if all-day events like this make for a long to-do list afterwards of catching up, they’re so worth it.

In my line of work, I attend a lot of conferences, on women in business, women in leadership, women in everything! We often talk about why we need more women in different spaces and how to support them.
But #Revival is different.
Revival is the thing we’re all talking about doing. It’s the actual work of creating space for women to show up authentically, lead in their own way, and succeed on their own terms. It’s about celebrating, showcasing, and acknowledging that we’re already here. We don’t need another program to prove it.
This is why we support Liat Horovitz and her work with Revival.

Revival 5.0: Still feeling it.

There are events that are beautifully planned — and then there are ones that leave a mark on your soul. Yesterday’s gathering was one of those rare experiences that made me pause, reflect, and walk away feeling lighter, more connected, and deeply inspired.

What resonated with me most was the theme of freedom — not just as an idea, but as a lived experience.
