Working With Liat
1:1 Coaching
-
The Playbase - Founder & CEO
We worked together on both life and business coaching to scale her child behavioral services company. Over the past year, she expanded her services, teams, and locations across the GTA — and successfully launched a U.S. branch in Florida. She’s now leading a multi-location business with growing impact.
-
Vaughan Water Babies Franchise – Owner
Over five years of coaching, we’ve focused on goal-setting, marketing, and balancing business growth with personal milestones — including three babies and a move out of province. Despite five Covid-related shutdowns, her franchise is now thriving. She’s recently expanded into another district and is surpassing her revenue goals.
-
Marlie Cohen - Kale & Krunches / Bounce Forward
I’ve coached Marlie for over two years as she built her second brand, Bounce Forward, alongside her established platform, Kale & Krunches. She’s grown exponentially across both brands — in visibility, revenue, and most importantly, the impact she’s creating.
-
Alissa Steinberg - HealthyU
Alissa is a powerhouse dietitian, influencer, and content creator. We’re currently working together to streamline her business operations and align them with her growing revenue and community-building goals. Her momentum is strong and only gaining speed.
-
Rachel – The Concept Agency
Rachel came to me while juggling a corporate role and freelancing. She’s since gone all-in on her agency, built a team of seven, and 5x’d her annual revenue. The Concept Agency now operates in both Canada and the U.S. — and continues to thrive.
-
Jenn – Kapedani & Associates
We started coaching while Jenn was still in corporate, craving something more. She took the leap and launched her own accounting firm — now a thriving business with a growing team, revenue well beyond projections, and a successful rebrand under her belt.
-
PhD Candidate
A young mom and scientist, this client needed structure and support to stay on track during Covid. Through focused coaching, she met all her thesis deadlines, defended on schedule, and proudly earned her PhD.
-
From Accenture to Alignment
Burnt out from corporate life at Accenture, this client joined 1:1 and group coaching — and even attended my Costa Rica retreat to find clarity. She’s since made a clean career transition, landing a new role that’s better aligned with her values and strengths.
-
Thrive Nutrition Studio – Owner
We worked on growing her digital product business from the ground up — scaling her social media to nearly 6k followers and 5x’ing her monthly revenue. She’s now confidently showing up as the face and voice of her brand.
-
Lisa Sonshine – Sonshine & Broccoli
When we started working together, Lisa’s IG following was around 3,500 — it’s now close over 9k. We focused on brand partnerships, pitch strategy, and confident communication, helping her elevate both her online presence and industry reach.
-
Michelle Machado - Luminara
Michelle came to coaching ready to clarify her personal brand and position herself as a sought-after expert and speaker. Together, we worked on confidence, strategic outreach, marketing materials, and building high-value connections. She went on to book a major speaking gig at DeepFest in Saudi Arabia and land not one, but two TEDx talks. Her visibility and impact as a global thought leader continue to rise.
-
Brittany Charlton - Ohh Foods
Brittany came to coaching during a high-growth phase of her business, as Ohh! Foods expanded into Walmart, Costco, and the U.S. market. We worked on helping her fully step into her role as founder — building systems, refining her pitch decks, and owning her presence with confidence and clarity. She’s since delivered standout pitches to investors and continues to lead her brand with purpose and power.

WHAT. WAS. THAT?! 🔥
Yesterday I had the incredible opportunity to experience #Revival 5.0 by Liat Horovitz (one of those people you meet and immediately think — why am I only meeting her now?!) and honestly… I’m still buzzing!
Since moving to #Toronto almost 9 months ago, I’ve been to a lot of #networking and #empowerment events - but this? This was something else!
A room full of amazing, inspiring women - not just there to network, but to lift each other up, share real stories (whether on stage or over lunch), and spread the kind of energy you can feel long after you leave.
The vibes? Unreal. The connections? Genuine. The egos? Left at the door.
I caught up with old friends, made new ones, and walked away feeling empowered, energized, and excited about new opportunities and collaborations.
Thank you Chris McMartin for the RED energy!
Thank youKristen Gale for making me think about the memories I create!
Thank you Jenn Harper for your inspiration and beautiful vibes!
Thank you Negin Cheleh for sharing your story, our power and strength are unbelievable! I will never forget you
Thank you Jake Karls! Where do you bring this energy from?!
Thank you Tanya Kololian for the inspiration and for the push!
And THANK YOU, Liat Horovitz! for creating such a strong, authentic, and empowering space.
(But seriously… do we really have to wait a WHOLE YEAR for the next one?! 😭) -

This one was different.
I’ve been to a fair number of events, and while many are well put together, very few leave a lasting imprint. Revival 5.0 by Liat Horovitz was quite the experience. It was a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when women come together with open hearts and no pretense.
A few things stood out to me:
✨ The vulnerability
✨ The authenticity that didn’t need to be curated
✨ The energy that could only come from women showing up fully as themselves
✨ The support that was both spoken and unspoken
✨ The beautiful feeling of being seen - not just looked at, but really seen
At the heart of it all, we all crave connection - genuine, soul-nourishing connection. And that’s exactly what Revival gave us ❤️
It was such a joy to meet so many brilliant women (and man, Jake Karls) - some of whom I’ve admired online for years. Meeting them in person only confirmed what I suspected: they are even more amazing in person. Chris McMartinJulie Cole, LLB, MAAdrianne FeketeJenn HarperMichelle Machado (PhD)
Thank you, Liat, for creating this kind of space.
Now please go get some rest - you poured a lot of heart into this. And it showed. 🫶🏿 -

There’s a special kind of energy that comes from being in a room full of powerhouse women building, growing, and rising.
This photo?
That’s me and the amazing Liat Horovitz hugging it out at Revival 5.0 - an event overflowing with bold, brilliant personal development magic.
Right behind us - epic small business energy!
Booths and leaders I deeply respect.
Cheekbone Beauty Cosmetics INC doing their thing.
Chris McMartin of Scotiabank Women Initiative connecting and championing.
Everywhere I looked, impact was being made.
This week, Liat joined me on my podcast - AI Literacy for Entrepreneurs - to talk about what it really means to scale with intention in the age of AI.
And spoiler alert:
🫷 We didn’t talk about prompt packs.
🛑 We didn’t talk about low-value automations that confuse more than they help.
We talked about truth.
About freedom.
About building businesses that serve your life - not the other way around.
💥 This is the kind of leadership that won’t show up in an Instagram ad.
💥 But it will change how you see yourself and what’s possible in the age of AI.
The episode’s a few weeks away from airing, but I’m still marinating in the depth of our convo.
Here’s what I want to leave you with 👇
AI isn’t the hero of your business. You are.
AI is not here to replace your brilliance - it’s here to amplify your humanity.
And Liat?
She gets that in her bones.
If you’re not connected with her yet fix that - here she is Liat Horovitz 👈
You’ll thank me later. -

What happens when women come together without filters, without competition - just real, raw connection?
........
You get something powerful.
You get Revival 5.0
Not just an event... but a heartbeat.
A reminder of the raw, powerful, unfiltered beauty of being a woman.
Hosted by the incredible Liat Horovitz, this was a day where masks were dropped and hearts opened.
We laughed, we cried, we saw ourselves in each other’s stories.
We heard from women who have been through hell and back, yet stand strong. Not because the road was easy, but because they were held by something deeper:
🌟 Their willpower.
🙏 Their faith.
💞 Their community.
As women, as mothers, as entrepreneurs, there is so much we carry.
And often, we carry it alone.
But you don’t have to.
There is strength in vulnerability.
There is healing in sisterhood.
And there is power in being seen, truly seen.
To every woman reading this:
✨ You are not alone in your journey.
✨ You are not the only one who’s felt overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure.
Find your people.
👉 The ones who lift you when you forget your own strength.
👉The ones who remind you who you are.
Thank you, Liat Horovitz, for being one of those people.
Your warmth is felt the moment you walk into a room.
Your leadership is gentle, honest, and bold.
And the space you’ve created is exactly what the world needs more of.
Let’s keep rising....together. -
Ariela Koldorf
There’s something truly energizing about being in a room filled with women from all walks of life — each carrying unique stories, perspectives, and experiences.
Last week, I had the privilege of connecting with an incredible group of women who showed up with openness, intention, and heart.
We shared stories. We laughed. We reflected. We lifted each other up.
And I walked away feeling deeply empowered — with renewed goals, fresh motivation, and a network of brilliant women who continue to inspire me.
This is the power of community. Of real connection. Of choosing to grow together instead of alone.
If you ever have the chance to step into a space like this, take it.
It’s worth everything. -

Yesterday cracked me open.
Revival 5.0, hosted by the powerhouse Liat Horovitz, was a soul reset.
Set in the stunning Symes in Toronto, the theme of freedom ran through everything,
every conversation,
every story,
every breath-filled balloon we released into the air.
We received powerful stories and strategies from founders like Kristen Gale of Ten Spot , whose framework for fun will forever live rent-free in my brain (you know I love a good framework).
The darkness and light of of Negin’s story (neg_in_wonderland on IG) stripped away every emotional layer.
And Jenn Harper of Cheekbone Beauty Cosmetics INC - what an icon.
I was in full fangirl mode.
There was laughter too. Chris McMartin of Scotiabank Women Initiative and I laughed about idea that hope is a drug (and honestly, I’m not mad at the addiction).
Jake Karls of Midday Squares brought the fire 🔥
Sonshine and Broccoli brought the joy
The Artist from _yaelly Remy Gecelter created a crowdsourced masterpiece that brought the magic
And the entrepreneurial energy? Electric.
To be in a room with people like Leslie GottliebHeather Bolt, Nathalie Amlani, MBA, PMPClaire ChenGabby Zuniga MIR, CHRLDori Adams, Anna Lisa Vicente I was reminded just how rich our ec thank you for inviting me!
We each breathed life into balloons filled with our hopes.
And when 200 humans lift your dream together... how could it not rise?
Liat, you’ve built a beautiful table - and you continue to fill it with people who bring their full selves, their full hearts.
Thank you.
To your expansion.
I’m still cocooning.
Still integrating.
But I know this: beauty is on the other side. -

Have you ever said yes to something on a whim and walked away forever changed? That was me at #Revival 5.0 last Thursday.
I first crossed paths with the incredible woman behind this event Liat Horovitz while emceeing a conference last month. After she and Robyn Ptak from Procter & Gamble lit up the stage in a fireside chat, Liat (with her trademark warmth) invited me to join her upcoming gathering as her guest. I could tell Liat wasn’t the kind of person who does anything halfway, but I had no idea just how transformative this event would be.
Imagine a room pulsing with possibility, with every seat filled by women committed to honest sharing and radical support, and bursting with infectious energy. As we listened to one incredible speaker after the other, I was wiping away tears from laughter one minute, and from profound sadness the next - awestruck through it all by the resilience beating at the heart of every story.
The real magic was the container Liat created: a space of vulnerability, curiosity, and fierce compassion. She introduced each speaker with extraordinary generosity, then guided the conversations with intuitive gentleness and unwavering belief in and admiration for every voice.
Forever grateful to these powerhouse speakers who moved and inspired me so deeply: Chris McMartin, Kristen Gale, Jenn Harper, Negin Cheleh , Jake Karls and Tanya Kololian.
Loved spending time with long-time friends Irena Kahn, Yael Grimman and Alyssa Kerbel, while getting to meet so many fantastic women, including Marnie Rabinovitch Consky, Michelle Andre Francis, and Sharmila Sriram.
Liat, thank you for crafting such an authentic, empowering space. Revival is now officially an annual can’t‑miss on my calendar. 💖 -

Still riding the high from the Revival 5.0 event on Thursday!
What an incredible, energizing day. Liat Horovitz has truly built a special community of authentic women who show up with honesty, vulnerability, and their whole selves.
Some highlights of the day for me:
🎉 Kristen Gale of THE TEN SPOT beauty bar lit up the room talking about bringing more fun into our lives. It's so important to make time for FUN!
🍫 Jake Karls of Mid-Day Squares made a surprise appearance (can’t wait to be on a panel with him next week at ECOMX Canada).
💄 Meeting Jenn Harper who shared her journey of building Cheekbone Beauty Cosmetics INC with purpose and impact. More to share in another post about our common views on starting a business...
🌟 Negin Cheleh shared an emotional, raw story of survival and resilience that left the whole room moved. Reconnecting with her over a decade after we first met when she pitched Thigh Society for social media services was a full-circle moment for both of us.
🧘♀️ Looking forward to visiting trove soon, after hearing founder Tanya Kololian speak (also more on that in another post)
It's always nice to see connect with others local founders Dani S Kagan from Mave & Chez, Kristy Lynn Miller from The Scented Market and others IRL.
The truth is that I spend 99.9% of my time in front of a computer, so even if all-day events like this make for a long to-do list afterwards of catching up, they’re so worth it. -
Gabby Zuniga MIR, CHRL
In my line of work, I attend a lot of conferences, on women in business, women in leadership, women in everything! We often talk about why we need more women in different spaces and how to support them.
But #Revival is different.
Revival is the thing we’re all talking about doing. It’s the actual work of creating space for women to show up authentically, lead in their own way, and succeed on their own terms. It’s about celebrating, showcasing, and acknowledging that we’re already here. We don’t need another program to prove it.
This is why we support Liat Horovitz and her work with Revival.
This is what action looks like. 💥
✨ Join us next year for Revival 6.0. You won’t want to miss it. -

Revival 5.0: Still feeling it.
There are events that are beautifully planned — and then there are ones that leave a mark on your soul. Yesterday’s gathering was one of those rare experiences that made me pause, reflect, and walk away feeling lighter, more connected, and deeply inspired.
Thank you Liat Horovitz, for planning and executing such a beautiful and profound experience. Revival 5.0 was more than an event — it was a gift. I’m truly grateful I could be part of it
What resonated with me most was the theme of freedom — not just as an idea, but as a lived experience. There was something powerful about being in a space where women weren’t trying to impress or perform, but simply showing up as their authentic selves. The conversations were honest and unfiltered, yet held with such grace. You could feel a sense of mutual respect and quiet strength in the room. It was a reminder that even in moments of challenge, we each carry the ability to choose change, to choose how we respond, and to move forward with intention.
The speakers were nothing short of incredible — each one shared their journey with honesty, heart, and wisdom. Their stories left us inspired and more connected to what truly matters. Thank you Jake Karls , Chris McMartin , Jenn Harper, Tanya Kololian , Kristen Gale , Negin Cheleh.
To everyone I met or reconnected with — thank you for being part of something meaningful. And to the incredible women who made it happen — your energy, care, and purpose came through in every detail.

Chris McMartin, National Small Business Lead, The Scotiabank Women Initiative
“I had the privilege of being the keynote speaker at Revival, a professionally executed event that brought together a dynamic group of women entrepreneurs, and inspiring women leaders. It was an honor to share the stage with such accomplished individuals. Talk about engagement! The crowd was full of questions and comments that sparked impactful conversation.
I'm particularly proud The Scotiabank Women Initiative was a presenting sponsor of this event. The Revival team was fantastic to work with, they were organized, provided many additional networking, media, and organic opportunities within their community. They continued to think outside the box as to how they could increase the value of our sponsorship and deepen our communities' connections. Their commitment to empowering women in business was evident throughout the day, and it was a pleasure to be part of such a forward-thinking group of women.
Revival was a testament to the potential and power of women in leadership and entrepreneurship, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for this amazing community of women.”
